Recipient of a miracle

Repeat: “Praise God from whom all blessings flow.” Yesterday, your “thrifty” old lady blogger found the door unlocked next door. Workmen have been upgrading the studio apartment and left the light on, on the balcony. Honestly, it was annoying me because “in my line of vision.” The door handle inside the unit is broken. I could not get out!  Miracle number one: I had my cell phone with me. I rarely carry the phone because it has been giving me problems and frustrations. Miracle number two: The third person I called came to my rescue. I called two others in my “contacts” and one (Tim) had deleted Asher Point numbers from his phone. The call to our Activity Director went directly to voicemail. True story: I heard people in the corridor, and I pounded on the door, but nobody responded to my pounding and call for “help.”

Not a miracle but a blessing. Earlier in the day, I made a second trip to Target to the Consumer Cellular booth with “technicians.”  Second trip in two days! Several previous visits in previous months. The cell phone has been a “headache” (putting it mildly). Supposedly, the previous day, a young woman fixed the problems. “NO!”   This time, a young man (with magic fingers?) sped through the features and fixed the problem.
