This afternoon, I “scouted” the location where I will be sitting. The meteorologist says we will have pleasant weather conditions–although a couple of rainy days between now and the 8th.
I’ve seen two total eclipses, both from the top of Shaniko Butte (Cow Canyon), fifty years apart. Have seen a couple partials too, and if the cloud cover holds may get to see a corner of this one.
