Dear visitor to my blog,
In my humble opinion, at my advanced age (almost 91), I thought it would be “helpful” to update the appearance of my blog. Honestly, I am in “a world of hurt” as I work toward the place where I am comfortable, again, with preparation and publication. I’ve reviewed my earlier posts, and I am embarrassed by their altered appearance. I will reschedule this message so it always appears FIRST. Below is the message I wrote on Friday, January 16th.
THANK YOU for following my experiences as I have documented them in this, my journal.

I had the stupid idea to “improve” the appearance of my blog site. Well, I am in a project “over my head.” I have a “new appearance” that I am very unhappy with, and I will work on a drastic change. For my faithful readers, my SINCERE APOLOGY. Rather than a “deep dive” into Ancestry, I made the move toward a more convenient way for folks to read my blog on their cell phone. No “climbing the family tree” although five or six obituaries are waiting to be added to my extended family.

Hours later, and this is an appearance I can “live with” until I master the navigation of available themes. I liked the three-year-old theme with numerous blog messages “up” at one time. Did the reader like that feature? Perhaps WordPress technical staff can help me “undo” my gross error?

It is almost 5:30 PM as I type these words. I have been in communication with WordPress technical individuals FOR SEVERAL HOURS!!! I am emotionally and physically exhausted. First: I didn’t have the posts… (where did they go?) and, second, now I see that my previous meticulous preparation of the messages is “all messed up.” Oh, woe is me.
