BIG day

Really BIG day yesterday. Tim took me to his favorite Dollar General so I could start assembling treats for the wagon, for the residents, for Valentine’s Day. I loaned my KIA to Tim, and he will take me shopping anytime that I ask. True story: I am terrified of Waco traffic; the drivers are speed demons and reckless (in my humble opinion). Tim needs transportation, and I do not need transportation. The last thing “old lady Lorraine” needs is an auto accident caused by “the other guy.” It is Thursday, January 15th, and I am alive and healthy. Perhaps it will be years (?) before the “farewell” blog messages are published, announcing that I have gone home to be with Jesus, and God, my Heavenly Father. ~~ What kinds of treats? Boxes of Kleenex, coffee mugs, Oreo cookies (for “gift” ziplock bags), Valentine’s shape chocolates (just to name a few). On another shopping trip–to another store–more candy and cookies. In a nearby community, we have a store with the sign “DG Market.” It is as BIG as some Walmart stores and (perhaps) as much merchandise as a Walmart store. In the TV news: Persecution of Christians. Request: Pray for Christians worldwide, pray for Lorraine and her fellow residents.
