In the “old days,” Walmart had a photo department. An employee would develop film and perform numerous other tasks. At Christmas—and Easter—parents were encouraged to take their children to “the photo department” for a photo with Santa—or the Easter Bunny. A much younger Lorraine was a “Greeter,” and “encouraged” shoppers (entering the store, in Englewood, Ohio) to take their youngsters to see Santa. I must confess that I also dressed in a Bunny costume (before Easter). Truth be told: Some of my hats date back to 2005 and 2006. ~~ Note that the picture is on a Walmart Gift Card. That was a “sales pitch.” ~~ “In the old days,” Walmart had “Smiley Faces” in their commercials. Here are pictures of my Easter Bonnet from 2005 or 2006, in 2024 and 2025. The third picture (for my records) is titled “Smiley Faces for the New Year.” Here is a link to the blog message on Jan 2, 2024.
