Question

Did anyone notice? Does anyone care? It has been ten days since my last blog message. In the past, preparing a blog message was an “everyday experience.” Taking pictures was an important part of my day. Honestly, wide awake during the night, I suddenly realized “the spark has gone out; I haven’t an ounce of energy for Lorraine or any other resident.”  I was so concerned for the residents. I am concerned for the residents. During infrequent conversations, I hear the same story: Everyone is depressed and discouraged. I say “infrequent” because I seldom go to the dining room for a mealand I sit alone. Frankly, there appear to be fewer residents at the meals. Yes, residents have moved but, perhaps, they experience displeasure with the meals. Some weeks ago, I titled a blog message “Would if I could.”  I’d move… but I haven’t an ounce of energy for the simplest task. (I need to do the laundry but “I haven’t an ounce of energy.”) ~~ Another question: If Lorraine is/was the healthiest resident at Asher Point Waco, what is happening with those with physical disabilities? ~~ We are another “Texas tragedy,” but we do not have media attention. ~~ Please add us to your prayer list.
