Life in the slow lane

Approximately thirty-six hours without television, and greatly missed! I phoned Spectrum several times. Initially, a reported outage in our area. Third and fourth calls… and a recorded voice told me how to recover service. Aggravating, frustrating, ineffective! Until this event, I “thought” I didn’t watch a lot of TV. “Yes,” the set was on, but frequently, on mute. My focus was (is) on my computer monitor and “climbing the family tree.” Out of the corner of my eye, I could (can) see the TV program and click to watch… if something interesting.

Confession: The problem was my fault because I dropped the remote (about 8:30 PM Tuesday night; during Gavin Newsom’s peculiar news broadcast). The “drop” must have bumped a button that stopped service. This morning, I pushed a button I may not have pushed before?! From there, I navigated to FOX and Friends on FOX News. I “thought” I tried everything. Gratefully, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.”
