We’ll never know for certain, but I suspect that a little bite of shrimp has brought me to almost a standstill. Several days ago, the residents were served “Salt and Pepper Shrimp.” One bite and my mouth was burned. For hours, I was sipping water to soothe the pain in my mouth. For several days, I have hibernated in my apartment because of pain in my colon. The shrimp was the only “peculiar” food item that I ate (one bite). I cannot think of another reason for all my pain. Honestly, I did not know that “pepper” indicated “hot pepper.” In my humble opinion, that is not an appropriate food item for Seniors. ~~ I had plans for projects this week, but I’ve spent time in my recliner–rocker wrapped in a soft, silky blanket. I haven’t wanted to watch TV. Truthfully, I did spend some time “climbing the family tree” inspired by a request from another Ancestry subscriber. That ended poorly when I advised her that her information is inaccurate and she does not connect to my immigrant ancestor, Michael Frantz. She sent a “snarky” one-sentence reply defending her information. My emotions were sabotaged, so (for an entire day) I experienced pain in my brain and my colon.
