Ought to have my head examined?! I hate to see “good things” going into the dumpster. “Someone can use that” is a thought uppermost in my brain. Recently, I shared boxes with a family member moving things from the apartment of her mother—because “mother” is now in a convalescent home. Daughter profusely thanked me and said I “saved her life.” It gives me great joy to help others.
For my “Mother’s Day” gift (to myself), I ordered these wire corner shelves. Why? Because I need a place to display my many, many hats. I repeatedly comment that I will be evicted. Why add one more item that I’ll have to move? Maybe I won’t have to move! I want to control the clutter in my apartment. The colorful hats will be the focal point because the white shelves will not to noticeable against the cream–color walls. I love this design because there are so many places to hook and hang hats. Today, I counted twenty hats scattered in various locations in my apartment. Additional hats and caps are stored in the clothes closet. ~~ The residents love my hats and costumes. ~~
