Harrasment?

A week ago, evening or nighttime, a long-time resident had “a massive stroke”  (according to gossip). He was “running water” at the time, and tragically, the water flooded their apartment and filtered down from the third floor to the dining room. For a week, at mealtime, the residents have been forced to listen to several large fans, blowing to “dry out” the walls and ceiling. The noise was unbearable (for me), and I stayed away from the dining room for several days. ~~ As a resident concerned for the welfare of the other residents, I questioned, “Why don’t they turn off the fans at mealtime?”  Harassment?  In my humble opinion, “they” (owners and administrators) do not care about the residents. We are valuable (only) because we put money in their pocket. ~~ On another day, I’ll post information about the “unsatisfactory” meals. (“Unsatisfactory,”  IMHO.)

  1. Water remediation is a serious problem. While the noise may be inconvenient, it is absolutely necessary to get that water cleaned up and things dried out. Lingering moisture is not good or healthy. Thank goodness it was only a small portion of the dining room.
