The “gift giving” was an enormous success. The wagon was almost empty when we returned to our apartment, after lunch. I’ve been collecting items that residents can’t take to smaller quarters or a convalescent home. I take things to Salvation Army. I had the inspirational thought that “charity begins at home” and Valentine’s Day was the perfect opportunity.
