My planned “New Year’s Resolution” was “get my affairs in order; no more procrastination.” One of my resident neighbors has moved to a convalescent home. He is restricted from taking his personal items. (IMHO, that is a crime!) He has no family so a couple of me (ha) stepped up to “save” items for a donation to Salvation Army. If management clears the apartment, things go into the dumpster. 😦 Obviously “no climbing trees” today and nothing was accomplished regarding my original plans for the day. Click each picture—for better viewing—and see the “timestamp” with the progression of the task. True story: My heart sings when I can help a neighbor.
The chair—and the lamp—and later, my air-matress bed will be donated. I’m paying for the “swapped” chair, lamp, and twin bed. (Perhaps I’ll get a better night’s sleep?) The “purest expression” plaque is from the resident’s room and joins my “risk more” plaque from an earlier Thrift Store purchase.
