Waco Grinch stole Christmas

There are dozens of unhappy residents… because the Grinch stole Christmas. Our wonderful, skilled, thoughtful, considerate, personable CHEF is leaving (in a few days). I was shocked (yesterday) to learn that our wonderful, skilled, thoughtful, considerate, personable ACTIVITY DIRECTOR is leaving (in a couple of weeks).

The first of several pictures. Check back later to see Lorraine dressed for a “parade” around the dining room protesting the departure. Greeting cards will be shared with the residents so they can express (write) their appreciation and loss.

“Crazy”  old lady Lorraine searched her hoard of personal “stuff” looking for something for a “protest sign.” Responding to the old saying, “Necessity is the Mother of Invention,”  a cardboard box is mounted above a broom handle. (Due to my extraordinary deeds, I have been labeled “crazy.”)
