Plus a stop at the grocery store and pharmacy.
I’m patting myself on the back because I was braving Waco wicked, wild, worse traffic imaginable. Even with hand-written instructions regarding directions to the polling place, I got lost. Fourteen miles driven (total) and should have been less than ten miles. Tomorrow, I’ll be driving across town for the regularly scheduled (twice a year, by MediCare) doctor appointment. Keeping my KIA is a luxury but it is valuable for doctor appointments, pharmacy, and occasional voting.
Also, it’s good to have a few groceries in my apartment for those occasions when I don’t go to the dining room because “I have a tiger by the tail” and can’t tear myself away from the computer—and Ancestry.
