The reader has undoubtedly noticed fewer messages, lately, regarding my ancestry. I feel compelled to point out that I am eternally grateful to God, my Heavenly Father, for His unmerited favor. I spend hours on the computer documenting my forefathers (and foremothers) who were staunch followers of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am unaware of any other researcher who has so many Christian ancestors. I may be documenting one branch of my tree… and find that it touches another branch of my tree. Although of different faiths, my Old German Baptist Brethren, paternal lineage, merges with my Mennonite, maternal lineage. Sprinkled in both… my Quaker lineage. My Smith branch of the tree takes me back to Joseph Smith (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). I’m not a Morman. “Awesome responsibility” to accurately document these families.
