As demonstrated in a couple of earlier blog messages, I am gathering things for a donation to a local charity. In the process of “gathering” from residents who are moving, I am “working my way through” my vast amount of items in my “storeroom” (otherwise considered a bedroom but my bed is in the living room). I positioned two furniture pieces… and then I began the enjoyable task of unloading the tote full of jewelry. I have not looked at those items since I left North Carolina in October 2013. I was able to fashion a rack to display my earrings. (I’ve seldom worn earrings the past four-and-one-half years because I was a hermit.) Now I will coordinate my earrings with my wardrobe. Each day—mingling with other residents—will be a “mini-costume” event. (Ha ha!) Did you question why I blocked the air-conditioner? I do not like “air” blowing on me!! Now the air is going to the left, right, and floor. ~~ Yes, the residents gave me permission to keep the furniture items “if you want them.”
