Yesterday, four friends reached out to brighten my day. Did they “pick up” negative vibes from me? (#1) Religious devotion to the phone call at exactly one o’clock every Sunday. She was my neighbor when I lived at the RV Park in Livingston. Thank you, Jan. (#2) Faithful friend sends birthday gifts and Christmas presents. I met her in New Hampshire, in 2010, when I was RVing. Thank you, Deb, for the Azalea pictures. (#3) RVing friend—and recent visitor—sent the video with details about his “adventure” in Waco. Thank you, Jimmie.* (#4) Cousin, friend, and avid genealogist sent several cartoons that had me smiling from ear to ear. Thank you, Leland.

Old lady Lorraine (eighty–nine and counting) won’t talk about the incident that led to her depression.
To my amusement, after I published the above message, I was doing a Google search. Google wanted to put a smile on my face (?) because “coffee”—
Growing up, Eight O’Clock coffee was the A&P brand, and at one time the most popular coffee in the country. Back then, you bought the bag of beans and ground it there in the store before you left. I always thought that was so neat, well before I was even a coffee drinker myself. Watched my mother grind it many times. Always brings back fond memories when I see that red bag. I’ll make some in the morning. 😉
