Personification ancestry

Yesterday, while documenting the extended family from details in an obituary, I came across a familiar surname. “Oh, I know that name; I’ve got that family in my tree.”  A few more folks were added and a few more sources and there they were. My maternal and paternal lines met at that point. Connections like this fascinate me but this one especially. When I began my search for my ancestorsin the mid1980sI began with my FRANTZ grandparents. Grandmother’s maiden name is TRAXLER. I located a book with the ancestors and descendants of Frederick ALDERFER. When I began my subscription with Ancestryabout 2011I started with that branch of the tree. I confess that it has been a neglected branch of the tree because I’ve focused on my FRANTZ “forest.” ~~ The point I want to emphasize is my gratitude for remembering names and details. PRAISE THE LORD!!
