Brighten the corner where you are

My New Year’s Resolution: “Brighten the Corner Where You Are.”  I was reminded of the song when I heard it played in the dining room of Lakeshore Estates. We have new residents and the wife is a marvelous pianist. She blesses us before every meal with songs that we “old folks” are familiar with.  She is certainly “brightening” our corner of the world. ~~ I can’t play the piano, I can’t carry a tune in a basket (but I’ve been known to “make a joyful noise”), and I don’t dance. Perhaps my silly (sometimes identified as “weird”) accessories will put a smile on the faces of residents? I’m quick to offer a  “helping hand” where needed.
