



One unhappy old lady. “No internet” when she sat down to the computer—before dawn. That is extremely unsatisfactory for a genealogist who usually has a tiger by the tail and can’t let go!! Every skill learned over thirty-five-plus years using computers… but “no internet.” Two phone calls to Spectrum and they automatically “reset” (from their computer at some remote location). Still “no internet.” I “rebooted” my computer three times and that did not correct the problem. Spectrum had advised me that there was NOT an outage problem in our area. Mysteriously, at one-ten PM, my internet connection was restored and I had a dozen new email messages. ~~
The “plus” side of this experience was the enforced time to do two loads of laundry.
